Catalog description

Honors Algebra 2 with PreCalculus and Trigonometry is a one-year course, which teaches all of the content taught in Algebra 2 and Precalculus with Trigonometry. Emphasis is placed on the following topics: factoring rational expressions and equations, quadratic functions, exponential functions, logarithms, complex numbers, conic sections, variations, probability, periodic functions and real variables, circular functions (using the unit circle), trigonometric functions of angles, vector and parametric equations. Note: the grade for this Honors course is weighted for GPA purposes.
