The test

Two sections, each in two modules, on College Board’s Bluebook app. 134 minutes of testing, 98 questions, and a 10-minute break in the middle.

Reading and Writing · 64 minBreakMath · 70 min
400–1600Your score: Reading and Writing plus Math, each 200–800.
AdaptiveHow you do on module 1 decides whether module 2 is harder or easier.
GuessWrong answers cost nothing, so never leave a question blank.
DesmosA graphing and scientific calculator is built in, or bring your own approved one.

Reading and Writing

54 questions · 64 minutes

  • Information and Ideas≈26%

    Finding, reading and combining information and ideas from texts, tables and graphs.

  • Craft and Structure≈28%

    Words and phrases in context, how a text is built, and connections between related texts.

  • Expression of Ideas≈20%

    Revising a text so it says what it means to, and meets a goal.

  • Standard English Conventions≈26%

    Editing for sentence structure, usage and punctuation.

Math

44 questions · 70 minutes

  • Algebra≈35%
  • Advanced Math≈35%
  • Problem-Solving and Data Analysis≈15%
  • Geometry and Trigonometry≈15%
