Catalog description
AP Statistics is for students with a wide variety of interests including science, psychology, health, and business. It is a one-year course about data and probability. Students will analyze data with calculators and computers, conduct classroom experiments, carry out projects and perform probability simulations. AP Statistics culminates in the AP Statistics exam. Students who are successful may receive college credit for a one-semester course in statistics. Most college majors now require a statistics course. Students will be able to apply their knowledge of statistics in their chosen fields.
