Catalog description
In Ceramics class students will learn the three basic hand-building techniques of pinch, coil, and slab construction. Students will also have the opportunity to learn how to throw on a potter's wheel. The artwork will be decorated and glazed with a variety of materials and techniques. Students will make both sculptural works of art, and functional pieces of pottery.
