AP US History

This course is a highly intensive, fast-paced college-level, chronological review of American history. The course will span from the founding of the colonies to the present. In order to cover a vast record of history, the course will include lectures, discussion, group presentation, work with primary source documents, and rigorous testing. A goal of the course is to prepare students for the AP examination given each May, for which they may receive college credit. Students will be challenged throughout the year to improve on skills demanded by the AP Test.
