ROP Chassis Systems

The students in this first-semester Chassis System class will develop knowledge, skills, and self-confidence in maintaining and repairing automotive chassis systems that include brakes, steering and suspension, and alignment. S/he will be able to identify and describe the function of components for each system. The student will be able to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills that are desirable in career placement and for additional training. S/he will be able to communicate procedures for maintenance and repair of brakes, steering and suspension systems, and wheel alignment. During the course, the student will work collaboratively while completing classwork and lab activities. The students will practice shop safety, use tools properly, and maintain a clean, environmentally favorable work area.
