BSC World History

This course analyzes major turning points in modern civilizations and the political, economical, and social roots of current world issues. The students will study the rise of democracy and the role of revolution, the industrial revolution and its effects on society, the role of imperialism in shaping our world, the causes and effects of World War I, the human experience of World War II, the global conflict of the Cold War, and current world conflicts. The students will work collaboratively to develop skills in geography, literacy, and technology. Students with active IEPs will receive appropriate modifications and accommodations to access the curriculum described above.
