BSC Career Skills

This course is designed as a student-centered course to assist students with analyzing their interests, skills and abilities while identifying careers of interest. Students will develop their self-advocacy skills, and also practice money management and other skills required for independent living. In addition, students will learn about work-readiness skills, soft skills, and community resources to support them after high school graduation. Students will also work toward job placement/volunteer experiences. Students with active IEPs will receive appropriate modifications and accommodations to access the curriculum described above.
