BSC Algebra 1

BSC Algebra 1 is a year-long course that builds on arithmetic skills and algebraic concepts taught in earlier grades. This course emphasizes the following concepts: basic properties of, and operations with, real numbers, solving equations and inequalities, graphing linear equations and inequalities, solving systems of equations, operations with polynomials, products and factoring, irrational numbers, and radicals. It follows the California State Standards with modified instruction and meets the math graduation requirements. Students with active IEPs will receive appropriate modifications and accommodations to access the curriculum described above.
